Wooden Heart, 2022. Mixed media at 42 by 48 inches: charcoal, acrylic, and photo transfer. A heart built out of driftwood and stitched canvas, weathered past prettiness into something that holds. It hung in the studio for a long time before it was ever photographed, and the light it kept is the light it gives.
